    Olsztyn
    The Towarne Mountains are a group of picturesque hills covered with limestone rocks, lying about 3 km north of Olsztyn, a town near Częstochowa. Just below the northern slopes of the hills lies the village of Kusięta. The Towarne Mountains, which occupy a small area, are mostly treeless, and the highest peak called “Lisica” rises to 349 m above sea level The area is popular with climbers and cave enthusiasts.

    Mount Biakło rises up to height of 340 m above Olsztyn, a town near Częstochowa. It is one of the most picturesque hills of the Polish Jura. Due to its distinctive shape of the rocky ridge, it is sometimes called the Little Jurassic Giewont. A cross in memory of John Paul II's pontificate was erected on the rock. From the top, there is an unforgettable view of the four corners of the world, and the local outcroppings are literally occupied by climbers.

    The Mirowskie Rocks extend over a distance of less than 2 km between two picturesque Jura castles in Bobolice (in the east) and Mirów (in the west). The range is formed by impressive outcroppings, in which there are shallow grottos and quite deep karst caves. The Rocks are covered with pine forests and xerotherm grasslands rich in protected plants. The Rocks are a favorite place for lovers of climbing. The Trail of Eagles’ Nests passes through the Rocks.

    Skały Rzędkowickie to jedna z najbardziej charakterystycznych grup skalnych Wyżyny Krakowsko-Częstochowskiej, ciesząca się popularnością zarówno wśród przemierzających jurajskie szlaki turystów pieszych, jak i zdobywających skały wspinaczy. Nazwa ich pochodzi od pobliskiej wsi Rzędkowice. Malownicza grupa skalna ma formę wału, który jest jedną z największych i najpiękniejszych tego rodzaju form krasowych na Wyżynie Krakowsko-Częstochowskiej.

    Góra Birów, wznosząca się 461 m n.p.m., stanowi jedno z charakterystycznych wzniesień w rejonie Podzamcza i Ogrodzieńca. Skaliste, malownicze wzgórze, dające dobry widok na okolicę było już od czasów neolitu miejscem osadnictwa. Szczególnie partie wierzchołkowe wzniesienia, tworzące nieckę otoczoną wapiennymi ostańcami, dodawały temu miejscu istotnych walorów obronnych. Obecnie możemy tu oglądać rekonstrukcję grodziska słowiańskiego.

    While in Podzamcze and visiting the famous ruins of Ogrodzieniec Castle, you should also take some time to visit other sights located in the area of Mount Janowski. One of them is a cluster of several very picturesque fantastically shaped outcrops, which extend in the immediate vicinity of the castle ruins. The local rocks are very popular among rock climbers, who use the climbing routes of varying degrees of difficulty.

    Mount Stodólska, also called Stodólsko, is the highest hill rising about 435 meters above sea level in the Niegowonicko-Smoleński range - one of the most picturesque parts of the Polish Jura. Along the slopes of the mountain there is a road from Dąbrowa Górnicza to Ogrodzieniec. On the top of the neighboring hills we will find numerous outcrops. We can also admire wonderful 360 degree panoramas.

    Siedlec
    The whitest of white limestone rocks in Poland can be found in Siedlec near Janów, in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. There is a quarry, now closed, that provided the limestone for cladding the buildings on the Polish Sejm and the Office of the Council of Ministers in Warsaw. Therefore, the quarry is named "Warsaw". An interesting fact is that the landscape of the limestone rocks was used as the location of the western with Val Kilmer in one of the roles.
